Monique’s POV:
Our passion for wedding photography began on our special day in 2020. It was a pivotal moment for us, filled with intimacy, love, and the glory of God. Our photographer played a significant role in capturing that essence, and I truly believe that her faith in God made it so extraordinary (thank you, Kelly from Salt & Light Photography!). When I decided to pursue wedding photography, I realized I wanted to create that same difference for others. Eduan is always there to support me and share in the joy, helping to bring our vision to life. I help maintain that special connection we had but I also run the business in full .

About Monique
Since I was a little girl, I've always loved taking photos. My mother patiently allowed me to use her cameras during our family holidays. That ignited the deep creative and photographic flame burning inside of me. I saved every cent, and as a student, bought my first camera. I never imagined it would become my career—until something shifted and like I said our wedding day played a big role in it.That experience deeply impacted me.
A few years later, I picked up a camera with purpose, and I found my passion. Photography became more than just taking pictures—it became an extension of my inner being. It is my mission for every couple I work with to experience what we felt on our wedding day: peace, joy, and the sacredness of the moment.
About Eduan
I am not your average videographer or second shooter. My work is primarily fueled by enjoyment rather than being my main profession. As a full-time architect, I truly love what I do. Being behind the camera allows me to enjoy the outdoors, break free from the routine of office life, and unleash my creativity. Sharing this experience with my wife brings immense joy to the journey.
It all started when I unexpectedly picked up a camera during a trip to Kruger, and my eye for composition just clicked. I also create videos in my workspace for client proposals, so I am familiar with video editing. One day, my wife asked for my help on a shoot, and after producing a video, we realized this could be a promising venture. Since then, I have committed myself to honing my skills and am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
